Alabaster Children

What can you do when you don’t have much well you can do much.

Jenna got the kids to make a car park out of a cardboard box.

It is rewards day, the children at Alabaster get points through the month then they to pick presents with their points.

Jenna brought little cars this month for the boys and what a great job they did of the car park isn’t it just wonderful.

Well done everybody you make our hearts so happy pop and mum xx

August News

Hi folks,

Thank you for your love prayers and support for Open Arms.

Well, the dear Granny’s had a very sad week it was just things we all know that sometimes life just gets too much.

I rang them to encourage them but I could see that they needed more than words.

So we came up with this, older folks with children are a match made in heaven so we asked the Alabaster children to make Granny’s a gift.

The children painted a tree and put all their thumbprints on it then they went to Granny’s presented it to them and asked them to pray for them, the delight on both sides was evident.

Then they ALL made cupcakes from scratch creaming the butter and sugar the lot they did it together and what fun they had they made 70 cupcakes.

The idea was that everybody grannies included would to the riverside to the impoverished community there and give them out with a lovely scripture of God’s love for them.

Before they were to go they had hotdogs and coke for lunch it was a first for our beautiful granny and they just loved them.

After a big run and play in granny’s yard they were ready to go but down came the rain and made a swimming pool out of the front yard so more fun was had.

Anyway today they gave out the cupcakes honestly folks this has been a delight every time I rang the team, the grannies, and the kids were laughing and having a great time really I just wanted to be there well I am a granny.

Nothing blesses pop and I more than seeing the kids and granny who really have no money, house, or anything much to give to the poor it is so good for their souls and for ours and we know that our Heavenly Father would be more than pleased and reward them because that’s just who He is.

Again thank you for your love prayers and support you make this possible.

Sending all our love,

Grahame Sandra and the Open Arms family
