Sreynait and I have been shopping every day for the grannies home ( me in my lounge room her in Phnom Penh ) we have brought beds, mattresses, pillows, curtains, plates, cupboards, kitchen needs .and pictures for the walls, we have also inspected the house renovations and it’s coming up beautifully.
Sreynait blesses her heart has been painting some of our old furniture we will use quite a bit of furniture that we have in our home that the girls no longer use.
Jenna and Lita have spent days on government requirements and I have spent days on doing up policies amd pulling together a training program for the home.
On top of that a wonderful church in Ireland blessed us with the funds to do 100 dare packages for girls that are in the sex trade and are living hard so the team got to it and they are all done. The packages have pyjamas, underwear and hygiene products what a blessing.

Psalm 92 -12/14

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,

He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Those who are planted in the house of the Lord

Shall flourish in the courts of our God.

They shall still bear fruit in old age;

They shall be fresh and flourishing,

To declare that the Lord is upright;

He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

We have met with our people here in Australia and the girls are working on the Cambodian Governments requirements.

QUOTE

While we don’t have Jesus standing right before us, we have unlimited opportunities to serve Him as though He were.

Deuteronomy 15:11

There will always be poor people in the land. That is why I command you to be ready to help your brother or sister. Give to the poor in your land who need help.

Hi folks it’s been a very busy but exciting week for Open Arms apart from the normal school and caring at Alabaster, feeding folks, training and serving customers in the salon we have been getting the grannies home ready.

It is possible to go shopping with your loved ones 9000km away it’s not ideal but fun all the same so this week the girls and us have been shopping everyday planning the new house sorting out the medical needs and doing the finishing touches to the government requirements.

There is much excitement in the place as we plan the home and Christmas as well, so everybody including the children the woman at Alabaster the grannies and our family will all have Christmas under the mango trees at Grannies house I just want to be there hehehe it will be a beautiful day.

Thanks again everybody for your love prayers and support we appreciate every single one of you.

Sending our love.

Grahame, Sandra and the girls.

Newsletter October 29 2021

Another big wonderful week of loving caring and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

Open Arms has started a new ministry pop and I are so grateful to God for this as we have been waiting for a door to open for many years to care for the elderly. The team are now cooking good nourishing food and feeding the older generation in Alabaster area they massage their little bodies, sing to these beautiful folks and listen to their stories it is so beautiful it just touches our hearts to see the young ones so caring.

This week Open arms team gave out the usual 165 meals and the kids got together with the team for a day out at the salon shampoos were had, pedis and manis and of course beautiful braids ,then it was time to help the team out together 50 more care packages then lunch.

Just look at those hamburgers she can hardly get her mouth around it.

The school centre was abuzz with craft making learning and having lots of fun.

Thank you for you prayers , love , care and generosity.

Alabaster October 2021

It’s that time of the week again proud mum / leader.
These girl do a fabulous job considering they have no teaching trying at all they are getting the job done.
The team prepared and gave out 150 meals again this week as well as thirty more blankets.
They are also training five girls in the Salon and they are going very well.
On a sad note can I ask you to pray for Alabaster women and the team it’s been very difficult as one dear lady that we have had for many years went home to heaven last week it’s gets to the team as the women often die on the streets and the team can feel failure which isn’t the way it is but they feel it anyway.
Thank you for you love prayers and support.
